Stillpoint's founding director, was the visionary and leader for the Center for many years. A spiritual director, certified Enneagram presenter, and holds a Master's in Pastoral Studies. Roisin now resides back in her native Ireland.

MARY ALICE NIELSON

President 
Founder

Stillpoint's Board President, Mary Alice is a graduate of Notre Dame nd a former Vice President of Cox Communications. She and her husband, Scott, have three grown children. She has served  on Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada and I Have A Dream boards. 

DELISE SARTINI

Vice- President 
Founder

Stillpoint's Vice President, Delise is a spiritual director and a graduate of UNLV. Married to Blake, they have three grown children, and three grandchildren.  Delise has been involved in numerous local charitable organizations and sat on the board of St. Jude's Ranch.

MICHAEL BUCKLEY

Trustee

An attorney for Fennemore Craig, Michael has practiced law in Las Vegas for 45 years. Active in the State Bar and local not-for-profit organizations as well as Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, Michael and his wife, Cathy, have four grown children and a brood of grandchildren. Michael serves as Stillpoint's Secretary and legal counsel. 

GARD JAMESON

Trustee

A former partner of Piercy, Bowler, Taylor and Kern CPAs, Gard holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Religion and teaches Oriental and Western Philosophy at UNLV.  He is involved in the Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada,  Compassionate Las Vegas, Delivering with Dignity, and Volunteers in Medicine SN. He and wife, Florence, have two grown children.  Gard serves as Stillpoint's Treasurer.

TERRY MURPHY

Trustee

President of Strategic Solutions, Terry is a public policy expert, former President of the Downtown Las Vegas Alliance, Director for the Las Vegas Monorail Company, and Director and Treasurer for Vision 2020 Today. An advisory board member of the Nevada Medical Center and Las Vegas Springs Preserve, Terry also served as Honorary Consul of Ireland for the State of Nevada. She holds a Masters in Sociology from UNLV.

TERRY

Trustee

The former Vice President and General Manager for Neiman Marcus in Las Vegas, Bill enjoyed a 30+ year career with the company before retiring. He is the Business and Finance Manager for  Grace in the Desert Episcopal Church, where he also serves as a eucharistic minister and member of the Vestry. He is blessed with son, Logan and his wife Elisa, and three grandchildren. 

SHAUNA
WALCH

Executive Director

A Las Vegas native, Shauna has a Master's in Servant Leadership. She led the development of Clark County’s Mojave Max campaign (now in its 26th year), served as Executive .Director of Communications for St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, and founded its award-winning WomensCare magazine. She is also an Adrian Dominican Associate (a non-vowed commitment) and she and husband, Greg. have two teenage boys.

A ray of light as you enter Stillpoint, Julia is an enthusiast dedicated to providing a welcoming experience whether for all who call or come to the Center. A seeker herself, Julia is currently on the path to becoming a spiritual director.

With true Southern hospitality, Lisa Rowell, leads Stillpoint's volunteer efforts bringing a sense of community to all who lend their time and talents to the Center's mission and operations.

CAROLE STANLEY

Administrative Support

A photographer, plant and pet lover, mom and grandma,  Carole Stanley was a dedicated Stillpoint volunteer who now assist with Administrative duties on a part-time basis.
