We have to learn to listen to Scripture. And we have to learn to listen to life
around us.

LECTIO DIVINA

Lectio Divina — or Divine Reading — is an ancient, Scriptural prayer form that promotes “An encounter with God.”

The four-step, transformative method includes:
lectio (reading), meditatio (meditation), contemplatio (contemplation), and oratio (prayer).

At Stillpoint, a fifth step of written or art journaling promotes going beyond normal preoccupations to bring forth prayers.

Stillpoint provides Lectio Divina education for individuals and faith groups.

Our center also holds Lectio Divina prayer groups (small groups that meet on a regular basis).

Fill out a Contact Form to learn more. Or, if you are an existing Prayer Group member to ask a question or make a freewill donation.
