Coming Up at Stillpoint:

Sacred Texts Series
This new series at Stillpoint will guide attendees in learning from some of the world's most revered religious texts. With the understanding that people all over the world have encountered the Divine in various ways, cultures, and eras; these ongoing talks will introduce spiritual writings which are lesser known in contemporary Western culture yet can provide powerful insight to guide us on our own spiritual pilgrimage.
Bhagavad Gita
Mahatma Gandhi declared the two texts that most informed his spiritual path were the Bhagavad Gita and the Gospels, the words of Jesus. The Bhagavad Gita is the gospel of Hindu tradition. It is a treasure trove of insight on the wisdom of Indian Spirituality. Set within the context of a great battle of epic proportion, the Bhagavad Gita, the Song of the Lord, is the story of the greatest Indian warriors, Arjuna, and the incarnation of God, Krishna. Through the story Krishna reveals to Arjuna the sacred pathway to God realization. Come and join us as we seek to understand this revelatory wisdom and gain perspective on its very practical appreciation of how one comes closer to the Presence of God within the soul. You will walk away with a deep appreciation of the jewel text of over one billion people on the planet!
