Dr. González has over thirty years of catechetical experience. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts, a Masters Degree in Religious Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley.

His recent catechetical experience includes the training and formation of catechists, master catechists, and DRE training.  Dr. González has worked with adults coordinating the RCIA program in his home parish.  He has also worked with younger adults preparing for Confirmation.

Dr. González worked as a Parish Director of Religious Education for five years.  His experience includes working in the Diocese of Oakland and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.  His most recent position was as Associate Director for Hispanic Catechesis in the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
