Betty maintains strong affiliation with her doctoral and undergraduate alma maters: Doctor of Education, Leadership & Administration, (University of San Diego.) Master of Education & Master of Arts (Inter-American Studies.) Bachelor of Arts, Spanish Language & Literature, (St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN.)

Her professional experience includes a number of charter administrative positions: 

President/Facilitator, International Leadership Institute; at CCSN, Director of the Henderson Campus, of the Institutional Research/Staff Development Offices, and Chair of Business Management Department. She also started and managed the St. Rose Dominican Hospital Foundation and served as the Executive Director of the

Holy Cross Hospital’s Center for Human Empowerment in Columbus, Ohio.

Her CCSN teaching is currently in Management/Leadership. Previously, it included Spanish, English as a Second Language, Sociology & Humanities. Betty is the author of

Leadership: A Practitioner's Notebook and editor of Realtime Leadership.

A native of Sacramento, CA, she loves the outdoors, walking, dancing, piano, socializing.
